On 11th January 2026, Kate and I decided to attend Lady Bay Church (All Hallows’ Church) for their 9am Communion Service. They advertised and were selling “Bread Journals” which essentially is the Church of England lectionary in a journal, with spaces for reflections and prayers. We bought a copy each, and on 12th January, I started reading one of the (usually) three selected readings and writing down my thoughts.
Now, most of these prayers and reflections are private, so I won’t be sharing them. However, I will share the verses that particularly spoke to me when I was reading (one for each day). My hope is that this provides some comfort to someone (or at least provides some sort of study of my state of mind for a given point in time).
